Mammo Marathon at El Camino Hospital – April 9th-10th

El Camino Hospital announced their Two-Day Mammo Marathon to be held April 9th-10th at their new Los Gatos location. El Camino Hospital Los Gatos is offering mammograms at no charge, and the Santa Clara Sporting Club helped raise over $46,000 during the last two years during their Goals for a Cure Campaign to provide funds for the community service activity.

Did you turn 40 recently but haven’t yet scheduled your fi rst mammogram? Are you confused by the new screening guidelines?

OUR NEW DIGITAL MAMMOGRAPHY UNIT IS NOW OPEN.

To mark this special occasion and to promote women’s health, El Camino Hospital Los Gatos is offering mammograms at no charge. That’s because we believe so strongly that a combination of regular breast screenings and self exams are one of the best ways that women can safeguard their health and their future.

April 9, 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
April 10, 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Mammograms will be scheduled every 20 minutes.

This free screening is focused on women 40 and above that are uninsured or underserved as well as those who have not yet had their fi rst mammogram. The event is sponsored by the El Camino Hospital Foundation through a donation from the Santa Clara Sporting Club soccer team whose fund raising efforts in memory of a soccer player’s mom have made this event possible. Additional funding is provided by The Women’s Hospital at El Camino Hospital, Imaging Services at El Camino Hospital and Silicon Valley Diagnostic Imaging group.
